The itinerary
Four days, gently paced
Day 1
Arrive and exhale
Private transfer, settle in, a welcome hamper, sunset, no schedule.
Day 2
Wild coast
Wharariki Beach or Farewell Spit, a beautiful picnic, then a long, lazy evening.
Day 3
Water and forest
Te Waikoropupū Springs, native forest and a gentle walk, local food and a free afternoon.
Day 4
Leave slowly
Breakfast, a final walk and transport onward.

Cockle harvest and cook
$75 per adult, children free
Gather tuangi on the tidal flats at the end of the driveway. We supply the recipe, local wine and garlic bread.
Breakfast hamper
$25 per person per day
Muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit, bacon, eggs, juice, milk and bread.
Dinner hamper
$75 per person per day
Cured meats, local cheeses and crackers, then fresh fish, beef, lamb or venison with seasonal salad and vegetables.
